Move Planning Services
| |
Heller Corporate Relocation Services plans and coordinates the activities involved in
organization moves, expansions and relocations. A preliminary budget is derived that includes the cost of the components of the internal activities, such as furniture purchase, project installation, cable and wiring, relocating phone systems and network operations, and other communication systems, as well as paging, security or time clock systems. |

Move planning efforts include overseeing the action items and activities of your staff, the outside contractors and vendors (i.e. furniture, movers, plant services, vending machines, file systems time clocks, paging, sound masking, security, telecom and mailroom, etc.) These efforts are generally not included in the architectural or construction contracts, and are usually handled by a facilities or project coordinator.

HCRS ensures each piece of the puzzle is well-coordinated with internal staff, the architects, engineers and the construction manager. Keep in mind that planning and conducting a move or expansion requires at least 80% of an employee's time. Unless you can designate someone full-time away from their current duties, the best solution is to hire
a professional move planner.

|
With any move or relocation, the key to success is a coordinated effort managed by one person. The move planner ensures the entire team (internal and external) is on the same page at all time. Otherwise, intricate pieces of the puzzle are dropped, costing time and money in change orders or rescheduling to correct any oversights.
HCRS
strives to keep the project on-time and within budget through our teaming methods, extraordinary communication skills, planning techniques and relentless attention to detail.
